A complicated form layout can be realized by aggregating placeholders on the first sheet and preparing the layout after the second sheet. Here, we will explain "purchase order" "order confirmation" as an example.

In the Excel file of the form to be output,Data is output only on the first sheet. If you want to prepare multiple templates, separate the sheet that specifies the placeholder from the sheet of the form.I will show you how to specify multiple forms in the same file. It can also be used to output the same data in different forms using different templates.

First sheet setting

Prepare a place holder for data output on the 1st sheet. In this example, the item name (Japanese) in column A, the placeholder in column B, and the character string that you want to link to column C are described. (Item name and concatenation character are optional. You must specify a placeholder.) In addition, here, to make it easy to distinguish, color is specified for the cell of the item name.

Setting for the second and subsequent sheets

Prepare the template of the form you want to output on the second and subsequent sheets. In this example, "order form" and "order confirmation" are prepared.

Write an expression that refers to the data of the first sheet in the cell for which you want to perform data transcription. Here, if there is a value of B4 of Sheet1, it is specified to display it in connection with the character of C4.

=IF(TRIM(Sheet1!B4)<>"",(Sheet1!B4)&(Sheet1!C4),"")

When saving the template file, please save the second sheet and subsequent sheets open. When you open the form file, that sheet is displayed.
