Display the referenced model in the radio button format. You can select one value.

Example of operation

Prepare the district model in advance as shown in Fig. 1.

Figure 2 shows an example screen that selects the value of this district model with a radio button. You can select the name of the referenced model "district" from the radio button.

Definition method

In the customer model shown in Figure 2, the type of the district item is referred to as "item reference of another model".(Figure 3)

In the detailed type setting, the reference destination model is set to "district", and the item of the reference destination model which is the option of the radio button is "district name". Select "radio button" as input type.

Example of operation

You can specify the initial value of the radio button.We will explain an example of making "Hokkaido" selected for the radio button when opening the new registration screen of customer model.

Check the value of the primary key (here, the district ID) of the target data.(FIG. 5)

When you open the new customer model registration screen, you can see that the data in Figure 5 is selected as the initial value.(FIG. 6)

Radio buttons are designed to display four choices per line by default.

Definition method

From the Input Control tab of the Model Item Detailed Definition dialog box, specify the number of checkbox/radio button wraps in the model reference.When it is blank it is interpreted as "4".

When radio button is used, a clear button (eraser icon) for canceling the current selection is prepared.

You can also hide the clear button.In this case, once you select something, one will always be selected.(You can not cancel all.)

When you do not prepare the clear button

Definition method

From the input control tab of the model item detail definition dialog, activate "Create clear button" in the model reference.(It is enabled by default.)

This setting is reflected in the registration, update and search screens.

When this setting becomes invalid

If the radio button is required, the clear button will be automatically hidden.

You can change the input type of the registration/update screen and search screen.
By default, radio button items are treated as list boxes on the search screen.

Example of operation

On the detail screen, only the selected item is displayed.This is the standard behavior.

Activate the "Display unselected item names" setting that is provided for options in the model item type detail setting dialog.

This setting is also reflected on the list screen.

The reference key item of the reference source model ("estimate" model in the above example) holds the ID value of the reference destination model.It is not a content part.A state that none of them is selected is NULL.

When you check the table on the database, you can see that the ID value is stored.
