If you press the "Run Now" button, you can run the job immediately. R7.4

After registering the job, you can immediately execute the job by pressing the "execute now" button.

Figure 1 shows an example of running the dir command (under the Windows OS) as an external command.

The execution result is described in the log file (system.log).

Principal

Assign the "Job Administrator" "Job Schedule Manager" permission to the jobadmin account. (Make sure to assign other authority as necessary.)

Setting method

The setting points are as follows.

  1. Be sure to specify a job account.Usually, you specify jobadmin account.(reference:"Preparation: Enable job execution account")
  2. Job isIt is not "valid"Even in the state, it can be executed immediately.If the job is not valid, the schedule setting is also ignored, so you can use the job function only with immediate execution.
  3. Ability to send the results of the job by e-mailWe recommend that you use it together.You may not be able to grasp the execution result of the job only by log browsing.
